Unmasking the AI Job Loss Myth: Nirmala Sitharaman Sets the Record Straight!

 India's Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman talked about how artificial intelligence (AI) won't automatically take away jobs but needs collaboration with humans to work well. She highlighted that it's not just about the number of jobs but also about their quality and relevance in a future with AI. Sitharaman mentioned that investing in AI and technology may not directly create many jobs, but it can lead to new opportunities in related sectors or support services. She praised the 'Atmanirbhar Bharat' initiative for boosting the Indian economy during challenging times.



When asked about giving more incentives for production, Sitharaman noted that existing programs had mixed results, with some doing well and others struggling. This shows the government is being careful and observant about future economic incentives.
